At Water Star Motors we service all car models including American, Japanese, European and Korean. Our ASE trained technicians have decades of experience, years of training and state of the art tooling to diagnose, service and repair your vehicle. If your vehicle is new or old, under dealer warranty or not, we work with you to service, repair and prevent problems before they happen.

National Warranty Policy - Home of the Three Year 36,000 Mile Warranty

  • The warranty on new parts and labor is 36 months - 36,000 miles*.
  • Our liability shall be limited to the repair or replacement of those parts found to be defective at our option after the vehicle is returned to Water Star Motors. If the vehicle cannot be returned to Water Star Motors due to the vehicle being out of the area we will guide you to an authorized repair facility for diagnosis and repair per our national warranty guide lines.
  • There is no warranty on performance parts, used parts, labor or otherwise.
  • Non-transferable.

* Does not cover wear items such as wiper blades, brakes and belts, nor major components like engines and transmissions. See policy for restrictions.

Our recommended service schedules:

Most people know that their car should be serviced for oil and fluids every 3000 miles. At Water Star Motors, we have schedules for more advanced maintenance as well. Listed below are our service recommendations and a timeline for action. Every time you come in for an oil service, we place a cling/sticker on your windshield to remind you when it's time to come back. We perform a multi-point vehicle inspection every time we have not seen your car for a while. Any potential problems we detect will be listed for you in the order of importance with safety first. Service schedule: 3,000 miles, 15,000 miles, 30,000 miles, 60,000 miles.

  • Change engine oil and filter
  • Check all fluid levels
  • Check tire inflation and condition
  • Look at all of the following 

Every 15,000 Miles:

  • Change engine oil and filter
  • Check all fluid levels
  • Check tire air pressure and wear
  • Replace air filter and fuel filter
  • Inspect brakes and rotate tires
  • Inspect and or replace PCV valve
  • Perform valve adjustment
  • Inspect and/or service automatic transmission
  • Inspect ignition components
  • Look at all of the following - replace as necessary:

Every 30,000 Miles

  • Change engine oil and filter
  • Check all fluid levels
  • Check tire air pressure and wear
  • Replace air filter and fuel filter
  • Inspect brakes and rotate tires
  • Inspect and or replace PCV valve
  • Service automatic transmission
  • Service manual transmission and differential oils
  • Replace ignition spark plugs: Check wires
  • Inspect distributor cap and rotor
  • Flush brake fluid system: Change fluid
  • Test and inspect antifreeze / flush system
  • Test and inspect A/C system
  • Perform tuning and test emissions
  • Inspect all drive belts and hoses
  • Inspect fuel system and hoses
  • Inspect exhaust system
  • Inspect battery, test, clean battery connections
  • Look at all of the following - replace as necessary:
  • Update owner's manual

Every 60,000 Miles All from 30,000 mile list plus the following:

  • Check and lubricate engine control linkage
  • Check and lubricate hood/trunk hinges, sunroof
  • Check and lubricate door hinges
  • Check and tighten clutch disc
  • Check drive shaft U-joints
  • Check drive shaft flex discs
  • Check electrical equipment
  • Check seat belts
  • Check and tighten body mounting
  • Check front axle steering linkage and boots

Warranty service - dealer or aftermarket

If your car is under warranty with the dealership or an aftermarket warranty program, we especially encourage you to come in: often, we can save you money by identifying expensive problems that may not be otherwise noticeable before your warranty expires. With a dealership warranty, the problems we find will have to go to the dealer for repair, but with one or two fewer steps for you.

Aftermarket warranty?
No problem we can handle the repairs for you. We go to bat for you and are your middleman between your car and the warranty company. We make a point of identifying and listing all items that need to be repaired each time your vehicle is serviced.
