I brought in my VW Cabrio in for a massive oil leak. They did a full inspection, and warned me that my wheel bearings really needed to be replaced. I knew there was something wrong, but I didn't know it was that bad, or that it was a hazard. They charged me $1300 to fix the oil leak, and to replace the wheel bearings. I feel that they charged me a very reasonable price. They don't charge hourly for labor, which has its good and bad sides. You don't get charged extra if something ends up taking more time than estimated, and you know how much it's gonna cost before they do repairs. This might mean that it'll be more expensive for smaller jobs. I chose this mechanic because they have a 3-year warranty, good reviews, and 10% discount on labor if you have AAA. Rebecca at the front desk was supper nice and helpful. My Cabrio has a lot of little issues, and she gave me some good advice on how to fix some stuff I was having trouble with doing myself. I never new my car could drive so smoothly. Now it doesn't even rattle when I'm on the freeway. ;)
