I had a fantastic experience at Water Star Motors. I found the staff to be professional, kind, considerate and positive. They gave me a great deal on getting the alternator repaired. Kristen is personable and warm. Everyone else who came in was equally glad to be there. Can’t speak highly enough of how I was treated here. Car is working well, too, which is what I went in for. :) Also, the business is very green and waste conscious.

Water Star does the service on an old Mercedes of mine, and I’ve always been satisfied with their work. Now that the factory maintenance contract has expired on my 2015 BMW I decided to have the car serviced at Water Star rather than to drive all the way to the dealership in Monterey. I got an appointment quickly and they included an Uber ride home when I dropped off the car. The service was done in A few hours and I’m very satisfied with the results. I strongly recommend Water Star; they do high quality work and it is so much more convenient to drive to Santa Cruz rather than down to Monterey.

Friendly customer service. Got an appointment right away. I would suggest sending an itemized report to the customer. That would be really helpful. Very satisfied. Reasonably priced.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this business! I called with a problem, was given accurate, precise information by Dennis. Brought the car in was treated respectfully by a knowledgeable, professional person. My car needed to be there a few days to order a part. I was called regularly to be informed about the progress of my car which was done 2 days before the promised date and the estimate was exact. I’d recommend this business to everyone.

This place is the best car repair in Santa Cruz. I found them by cross-checking AAA approved places with positive reviews on Yelp and this place had the best reviews on both. They were very professional and took good care of my Miata. They were also nice enough to arrange payment with my dad over the phone and even sent me a thank you letter with a magnet and business cards afterwards. They also cover a wide range of car issues. They were prompt, courteous, professional and family-owned so you know you're helping support local businesses. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else in Santa Cruz

The battery on my Prius died and they were able to get me in on a Friday morning and were done by Friday afternoon. Definitely saved me much hassle! Very satisfied with customer service and mechanics. Will definitely be returning.
