Radiator flush, Oil/filter changed, & DMV Smog Certificate. Best part of the service was when Henry loaned me his '75 Mercedes 4 door sedan to drive home and back. Had to put the pedal to the metal going up the hill to Scotts Valley... but that ole Merz ran like a true blue John Deere diesel tractor in the Pan Handle of Texas... for those of you young whipper snappers who don't know where the Pan Handle is... it's located in the northwestern part of Texas which encompasses surrounding New Mexico, Colorado, and Oklahoma. The geography lesson was free. The services are not. You will be treated fair and square at Water Star Motors. Don't let any of this go to your head now... ha!

Staff is great and friendly. Work was fast. Experience overall was positive. Highly recommended by friends. I do wish that I had gotten quotes first though. Water Star told me flushing break lines as part of my 90K tune-up would be an extra $130. When I called another shop just to check on prices, they said that would have been included in their service. Lesson learned. Overall, I would recommend this shop to anyone. Everyone was really personable and seemed genuine. The shop was clean and orderly. Great business in Santa Cruz.

I only take my car to Water Star, I don't trust anybody else under my hood.

It took a while to work out the problems; however, my car runs better than it has in years. I dealt with Henry and he has a wealth of knowledge on these older Mercedes cars. He will be my mechanic on this car as long as I own it and he's around.

Fixed a nagging item under warranty, no questions asked even though the vehicle hadn't been in for a while. Bill less than estimate. Water Star doesn't fix what ain't broke (yet) then stick you with the bill -- even if you tempt them too. Friendly service. Happy camper (actually an MPV).
