We recently took our 2000 Toyota Sienna to Water Star Motors and I have to say we are sold on their service. They are very friendly, informative and professional. When we set up an appointment online they very promptly and courteously replied to confirm. The service they did was done very quickly and now our car is running great. I happily recommend Water Star Motors and will be using them from now on for repairs to both of our cars.

When my 20 year old Previa van was dead in my driveway, I thought for sure the battery is dead and needed replacing. After jump starting the car and took it to Water Star Motors, they examined the car and found the battery was still fine, I had left a light on which ran down the battery, but it does not need to be replaced. So I am quite happy to have the problem diagnosed and properly taken care of.It has been several months, and the battery is indeed fine. I appreciate the honest and accurate diagnosis of my car's problem and am happy to recommend Water Star Motors to all my friends. Their download location was also very convenient. The fact they are Green certified is just a bonus. Love the staff there too, they are friendly and treated me wonderfully. I have since taken an old Lexus there for oil change too, and loved the service.

I am extremely happy with the service I have received at Water Star Motors. I have been taking my 1998 Mercedes E320 there since I bought it used three years ago. They consistently give good customer service and effectively diagnose and fix problems. Since I'm not the original owner and the car is nearing 15 years it has required work beyond general tune-ups. The staff at Water Star Motors has been very helpful in identifying issues with the car they have helped me to prioritize what to fix based on safety and necessity. I will definitely continue servicing my car at Water Star Motors!

Water Star Motors has been doing right by my 2004 Toyota Sienna for the last 3 years. last summer I called their office to double check info (from the tow truck driver) during a roadside emergency and they saved me some expense. I'm anticipating some major maintenance later this year and the staff has been helpful toward my planning. Professional, reliable and green--Works for me!!!

I have been using Water Star for almost 5 years and have always been more than satisfied. They have done everything from oil changes to major repairs, and are consistent in their cost and time estimates as well as the quality of work they do. They are also competitive or less in their fees. Recently, my car abruptly started sounding like a loud motorcycle as I was driving around town -- I called Water Star and they took me immediately. I was afraid I'd have a big muffler repair bill -- turned out one of my spark plugs had come loose. After checking and tightening all of them, I was out the door WITH NO CHARGE in the space of maybe 20 minutes. The staff is always friendly, goes out of their way to accommodate my schedule, is generous in offering rides to and from the shop when they have my car -- and they're a certified green business. I trust them implicitly -- they've earned it!

I’ve been taking my car to Water Star for over a year now (mostly oil changes). On the last visit, I had some major repairs car taken care of at Water Star (3 months ago, day before Thanksgiving). There was a lot of work that needed to be done (front engine mount, right axle shaft, rear trailing arm bushings, and V-Tech seal), and I wasn’t even sure how much longer my car would survive (97 Honda Civic with 270,000 miles). Considering how good the experience was with Water Star, this is definitely an overdue review, but at least I can say that the repairs have held up very well for these last few months - my car is driving much stronger than it has in the past couple of years. For starters, I expected the mechanics to require me to leave my car at the shop for an entire day. The guys at Water Star got EVERYTHING taken care of by the afternoon. When they found a cheaper part for my motor mount (than what was quoted) I was very pleasantly surprised to see the price drop more than a hundred bucks! Ultimately though, feeling secure with the repairs over these past few months has been the best part of the experience – peace of mind when I commute 2 hours a day, 5 days a week. The entire staff at Water Star is beyond courteous, friendly, helpful, honest, and professional – and that was before I received such an awesome holiday card/chocolate gift! This is a business that knows how to take care good care of their clients for sure!!! I can’t imagine taking my car anywhere else and that is why I am more than happy to sport a Water Star Motors license plate holder. Thanks Water Star!

Being new to Santa Cruz, I was weary about finding a trust-worthy and reliable auto shop. But a friend recommended Water Star to me, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received. The staff was extremely friendly, honest, and very timely with the repair, and they even gave me a ride to work after dropping the car off. I will choose Water Star for every auto need from here on out!

We recently moved to Santa Cruz and were looking for a place to service our Volvo; somewhere we could trust. Being a computer guy (and definitely not a car guy) I'm always weary of mechanics because I don't know very much about cars and have been made to feel inferior and taken advantage of by mechanics in the past. Water Star Motors was the perfect place for me. They are up front and honest about what they see and explain everything without making me feel dumb or like they were trying to pull one over on me. Great, timely, friendly service... I highly recommend them.
