This place is the best car repair in Santa Cruz. I found them by cross-checking AAA approved places with positive reviews on Yelp and this place had the best reviews on both. They were very professional and took good care of my Miata. They were also nice enough to arrange payment with my dad over the phone and even sent me a thank you letter with a magnet and business cards afterwards. They also cover a wide range of car issues. They were prompt, courteous, professional and family-owned so you know you're helping support local businesses. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else in Santa Cruz

Star Water Motors is a Local/ Family shop! These are GOOD people who have a GREAT shop. Now when I say this is a family business I don't just mean they run this business as a family, the team at Star Water treat there costumer base like family. They are honest and VERY knowledgeable, I begin to explain what my car is doing and they are able to pinpoint the issues and solve my cars problems. I feel I can call anytime and talk to Josh or Henry who always have helpful answers for me. As a single Mom I am just trying to get by and when something goes wrong with my very loved 1979 (bio-diesel) Mercedes, I call Star Water Motors. I know that this"family" will do everything in there power to get my car back on the road in the most economical and quick way possible. I have had tons of work done on my Mercedes at Star Water and because of the service I have received, they have earned a LIFETIME patron. I sport their Star Water Motors licenses plate cover because I am a PROUD COSTUME of this GREEN LOCAL FAMILY business! Shhhh..... don't tell anyone but they run on BIO~Diesel too!

Everyone at Water Star is skilled, friendly and knowledgable. They have mechanics who know BMWs and will get to the bottom of car problems and repair them efficiently and get it right the first time. They have helped me keep my 2004 BMW X3 in great running condition and work with me on a maintenance and repair schedule that fits with the rest of my life. We recently took our 2000 Toyota Sienna to Water Star Motors and I have to say we are sold on their service. They are very friendly, informative and professional. When we set up an appointment online they very promptly and courteously replied to confirm. The service they did was done very quickly and now our car is running great. When my 20 year old Previa van was dead in my driveway, I thought for sure the battery is dead and needed replacing. After jump starting the car and took it to Water Star Motors, they examined the car and found the battery was still fine, I had left a light on which ran down the battery, but it does not need to be replaced. So I am quite happy to have the problem diagnosed and properly taken care of.It has been several months, and the battery is indeed fine. I appreciate the honest and accurate diagnosis of my car's problem and am happy to recommend Water Star Motors to all my friends. Their download location was also very convenient. The fact they are Green certified is just a bonus. Love the staff there too, they are friendly and treated me wonderfully. I have since taken an old Lexus there for oil change too, and loved the service.

I am extremely happy with the service I have received at Water Star Motors. I have been taking my 1998 Mercedes E320 there since I bought it used three years ago. They consistently give good customer service and effectively diagnose and fix problems. Since I'm not the original owner and the car is nearing 15 years it has required work beyond general tune-ups. The staff at Water Star Motors has been very helpful in identifying issues with the car they have helped me to prioritize what to fix based on safety and necessity. I will definitely continue servicing my car at Water Star Motors!

Water Star Motors has been doing right by my 2004 Toyota Sienna for the last 3 years. last summer I called their office to double check info (from the tow truck driver) during a roadside emergency and they saved me some expense. I'm anticipating some major maintenance later this year and the staff has been helpful toward my planning. Professional, reliable and green--Works for me!!!

Because of reliable integrity-based service, I've been commuting to Southern Cal to have my '92 Honda Prelude 225,000 mile car worked on!NOW I'm delighted to have found Henry & his family & team at Water Star Motors--wonderful energy, efficient service, clear communications, & excellent timely work.My hunt is over--no more commuting LOL
